ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi – Thac Ba Lake (180km)
Hanoi – Thac Ba Lake
Your adventure begins at 8:30 AM as we depart from Hanoi’s outskirts, avoiding the city’s bustling traffic by following the scenic Red River dyke. This peaceful route provides stunning views of rice paddies and traditional villages, offering a taste of rural Vietnam. Around noon, we stop for lunch in Doan Hung town before continuing our journey. Riders can choose between a winding mountain road to Thac Ba Lake or an off-road trail through lush green tea plantations and remote villages. Upon arrival in Vu Linh, a charming Dzao ethnic village near the lake, we settle in for the night. In the late afternoon, enjoy an optional boat trip around the serene Thac Ba Lake, known for its picturesque islands.

Afterward, hop on your motorbike and ride towards Yen Bai town, where we stop for lunch. The afternoon ride takes us through winding mountain roads, passing rustic villages and the breathtaking Lung Lo Pass, one of northern Vietnam’s most scenic mountain passes. Enjoy the opportunity for off-road sections through rice fields and local hamlets before arriving in Phu Yen in the late afternoon.

After crossing the river by ferry, we ascend to Moc Chau Plateau, famous for its cool climate, lush tea plantations, and dairy farms. Lunch is served in Moc Chau before we continue on Hua Tat Pass, a beautiful and quiet mountain road built by the French. We arrive in Mai Chau Valley by late afternoon, where we check into a traditional Thai stilt house for an authentic homestay experience.

- Option 2: Extended route via the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail (240km) – Ideal for experienced riders seeking a longer and more exciting challenge. This historic route offers a mix of paved and dirt roads, passing through historical sites and dense forests before reaching Hanoi.
