Day 1 Hanoi / Van Long Nature Reserve / Cuc Phuong National Park
We depart from Hanoi between 7:30 and 8:00 am, traveling through the scenic Red River Delta en route to Ninh Binh.
Evening: Relax at a guesthouse nestled in the park’s headquarters, surrounded by lush mountains and rainforest. (Lunch and dinner are included.)
Morning: At Van Long Nature Reserve, enjoy a delightful boat ride amidst tranquil waters and towering limestone peaks, taking in the area’s stunning natural beauty.
Afternoon: Continue to Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s first national park, spanning over 22,000 hectares and renowned for its biodiversity. Explore a designated hiking trail through ancient forests, passing by caves, fossils, and majestic trees nearly 1,000 years old.
Day 2 Cuc Phuong – Kenh Ga Floating Village – Ninh Xuan – Mua Cave – Yen Mo
Begin the day immersed in the natural and cultural wonders of the region.
Evening: Visit Tien Pagoda and enjoy a scenic stroll through villages and limestone formations. For the adventurous, climb Mua Mountain for panoramic views of the sunset over the karst landscape. End the day with a hands-on cooking experience at Xom 9 village, where you’ll learn to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls and sticky rice. Enjoy dinner and the hospitality of a local family before settling into a cozy lodge. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.)
Morning: Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre and the Turtle Conservation Centre, where dedicated efforts protect Vietnam’s rare primates and freshwater turtles. Stroll through the park’s Botanic Garden, learning about its diverse flora.
Afternoon: Journey to Kenh Ga Floating Village. Take a serene boat ride along the Hoang Long River, observing the daily lives of locals living along its banks. Continue to Yen Mo village in the Red River Delta to experience rural life.
Day 3 Yen Mo – Bich Dong – Trang An – Hoa Lu – Hanoi
Morning: Visit the serene Bich Dong Pagoda, a three-level temple nestled into a limestone cliff, offering stunning views and spiritual tranquility. Then, embark on a two-hour boat ride along the enchanting Nang River, passing through the Thung Nang cave system adorned with stalactites.Afternoon: Explore Trang An by bicycle, weaving through limestone mountains, rice paddies, and villages in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, to see remnants of royal palaces and temples, including Dinh Tien Hoang Temple and Le Dai Hanh Temple. Learn about the history of the Dinh and Le dynasties while taking in the breathtaking natural surroundings.Evening: Return to Hanoi, arriving around 5:00 pm. (Breakfast and lunch are included.)
